History Article Review

Read John H. Rachal: “The Long Hot Summer: The Mississippi Response to Freedom Summer, 1964.”  The article is posted on Canvas under the Files tab.

1. Format: 12-point, Times New Roman font, “regular” margins, double-spaced. Name, date, class info on top left corner of first page.
2. Identify the thesis. Simply write Thesis: “……………………….” and quote the actual thesis from the article.  You don’t need to cite the thesis.
3. Summarize the article. In 1-2 pages – no more than 2 – summarize the entire article.  DO NOT USE QUOTES.            DO NOT PLAGIARIZE.
